Joe Cool's Backyard BBQ

Awww man! I just went to the Knotts Berry Farm website and on their front page at the bottom they have this advertised:

Joe Cool's Backyard BBQ

All You Can Eat BBQ and Knott's Berry Farm admission for one low price! Adult: $29.95 Child: $16.95 By reservation only - 1-800-PICNICS

That would be awesome if Cedar Point had a deal like that. Maybe Cedar Fair is testing it out at Knotts before they try it at the Point.

Does anyone know if this is the first year they have done this at Knotts? If so, maybe we will see it at Cedar Point next year?

Didn't CP have something like this. I remember seeing a post about it, it was like a Joe Cool Club picnic or something. I heard it wasn't advertised very well, and the buffet was always empty. I think it cost like 8 bucks, but the selection wasn't that grand. Does anyone else remember this?

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

$29.95? That better be one bad a** BBQ. CP has a JC picnic on Sundays only, I think it is $7.
I think he was saying that $29.95 included admission to the park and the BBQ.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Disney World is $39.01 per person, though there's entertainment as well. From what I've heard, it's very popular.

A little off topic but whatever: You guys remember that awesome BBQ place by where Millennium Force is currently? That place had some excellent BBQ.

YES! I remember that BBQ place by Millennium Force. That place was awesome. I also loved it when CP would have those BBQ Turkey Leg stands. Those legs were huge!

Do they do those every year or was that just a couple years they did those. I haven't seen them in awhile.

I think Gristmill Refreshments has turkey legs.

You're correct, Walt, they are BBQing Turkey Legs at the Gristmill. I haven't tried them, but they do smell delicious.
That Mickey's Backyard BBQ sounds great. In addition to food, you get all the draft beer you can drink. If I ever make it to Disney, I'm definitely stopping in there.
I miss the BBQ chicken place that was removed for MF.

I haven't been to CP on a sunday yet to try their JC picnic, but I suspect it's a bit different from what Knott's is doing.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

My favorite place to eat is the Millennium Grille. That Italian sausage is delicious
Do you think Cedar Point would add a BBQ picnic to the Joe Cool Club since they just added Famous Dave's? I would not think so.

Unless they were serving food from Famous Dave's.
