Question About Housing

...Or to just answer the simple question - yes, you get 4 free tickets unless that has changed since last year.

My process date is the 16th. There will still be housing available by then right. Just a little concerned since I'm coming from out of state.

Oh yeah there will be alot left. You have to remember alot of the workers who get hired dont process in until the end of may or beginning of june because of school.

where you working at this summer?

As of right now, Mantis!! I'm super excited to be at Mantis and hope I stay there!!

Ahhhh thats sweet!! Yeah I like it not my favorite but its good
Im still waiting for my app to even be reviewed

but people who applied last year in like march were just fine with housing

Awesome can't wait. Gonna be a really fun summer judging the posts everyones said about last year and years before.

I know fer sure! I just cant wait to get that call and know Im coming. Im doing food services and I guess that takes longer?

But yeah I have heard its amazing and you meet soo many new people

The only way you will be able to get into Bayside is if you will be processing in March or mid April. By the end of April its usually already filled and you will have to stay over at commons.

I have a question i live in Pennsylvania and applied at Cedar Point a few weeks ago in Park Operations Dont Exactly Know What For. My 18th Birthday Is May 30 Can I still Apply For employee Housing

Will you have graduated from high school by then? If so then yes.

I have multiple questions.

Do you recommend to bring a mini fridge, also does the building have a area to make breakfeast i.e stove or what ever. and is there a sink of some sort not like a bathroom sink but a sink to clean like a mini magic bullet.

yes, you will want a mini fridge. If you live in the apartments, there is a stove and stuff and I think they provide you with a fridge. but theres no sink in the commons rooms. theres a microwave down stairs by the front desk you can use

A mini fridge is practically a necessity.

Looking at housing so far, I have a few questions:

1. Bayside appts...is there AC, it says only heat?
What does the living room, ect. look like

2. Common appts....says ac only in the living room? What's it like to sleep
Layout of these

3. Common dorms=1400's right? And what are those like?

Basically I want room, and I kind of want a living room, and a kitchen/fridge to store stuff in like gatorade, ect. Versus buying a mini fridge and totting it up to CP. Plus having a kitchen will be nice because I can make food and "try" to eat healthy while up at the point.

Also, wifi in each of the buildings? Any Good

What are your takes on those three & pros & cons please...thanks everyone...sorry for being a first year n00b

If it says only heat it pry means there is only heat. I recall seeing a million window fans sticking out of bayside apartments. I think that commons dorms are the only CP housing facilities that have AC.
Don't know about sleeping at commons apartments but there is a commons area with a small kitchen and then there are 4 rooms, and I believe 2 bathrooms? don't quote me on that though. I think you have to clean your own bathrooms, though. One of the upsides to living in the dorms is that people are hired to clean them. But it's a public bathroom.
As for commons dorms it's 1300s, 1400s and 1500s. I lived in the 1500s and the wifi was mostly out there. I went to 1400s a lot and used the wifi in their lounge.
If you want a fridge don't bother with commons dorms. I brought my mini fridge with me.

So are there curfews for dorms?

no, you don't have to be in at any certain time, but boys aren't allowed in girl's dorms after 12:00 A.M. on weekdays and 1:00 A.M. on Fridays and Saturdays and same with the girls in guys dorms. they don't really enforce this. pretty much the guys can't use the front entrance to get in the dorm. and as long as you aren't making lots of noise they won't come to your room and tell them to leave
