Television shows or movies that mention Cedar Point

I'm working on a list of television shows and movies where Cedar Point is mentioned. And by television, I mean scripted shows - I realize the park has been mentioned on Travel Channel documentaries at least once. :) Right now, I have:

The Drew Carey Show (S07E20 - Originally aired March 20, 2002 on ABC)
Drew (Drew Carey) asks Milan (Jessica Cauffiel) where she had been been all day. Milan explains that she heard about a new coaster at Cedar Point on the way to work, so she bribed some guy to open the park and “we rode it like 15 times.” It’s revealed that “we” includes Mimi (Kathy Kinney) and Nigel (Craig Ferguson), who are both in shambles.

8 Simple Rules (S01E08 - Originally aired November 5, 2002 on ABC)
Bridget (Kaley Cuoco) and Kerry (Amy Davidson) complain to their dad (John Ritter) that his punishment means they won't be able to go to Cedar Point.

Hope and Faith (S01E07 - Originally aired November 7, 2003 on ABC)
Car dealership owner Handsome Hal (Regis Philbin) boasts to Faith (Kelly Ripa) about his time share at Cedar Point.

Gilmore Girls (S07E22 - Originally aired May 15, 2007 on The CW)
Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) plan a roller coaster road trip, which includes a “trip out west” to ride Millennium Force in Ohio.

Glee (S01E12 - Originally aired December 2, 2009 on FOX)
Quinn (Dianna Argon) threatens to expose the unethical practices of Sue (Jane Lynch), which includes the gifting of Cedar Point season passes later sold on eBay for a profit.

Hi Walt...
There was an episode of the Rosie O'Donnell talk show that mentioned Cedar Point. I have no idea of the year/episode.

But, the guest was Drew Carey and Rosie was promoting a 40th Birthday Trip to Disney -with winners that were also turning 40 the same year- and Drew mentioned he hadn't been to Disney, but grew up going to Cedar Point. Rosie had never heard of CP....and Drew was telling her about the park, since he was from Cleveland area. Believe I read that he had worked there at one time.

**According to Wiki, Rosies birthdate is March 21, 1962. Not sure how to figure it out...I'll look around a bit.

Well, that was easy to find...IMDB has Drew listed as a guest 7 times...and with her 40th birthday on March 21, 2002, would guess the 2001 or 2002 episode.
"The Rosie O'Donnell Show" (7 episodes )
1. Episode dated 17 February 1997 (17 February 1997) - Himself
2. Episode dated 28 February 2000 (28 February 2000) - Himself
3. Episode dated 4 May 2000 (4 May 2000) - Himself
4. Episode dated 18 May 2000 (18 May 2000) - Himself
5. Episode dated 23 January 2001 (23 January 2001) - Himself
6. Episode dated 21 February 2001 (21 February 2001) - Himself
7. Episode dated 26 June 2002 (26 June 2002) - Himself

Hi Walt, here's one that I'm sure many people haven't even heard of:

Slaughter of the Innocents, 1993 starring Scott Glen and a host of other actors.

A lot of this movie was filed in Cleveland, pretty good movie....and there's a scene when the FBI agents son whose trying to help his dad out solve cases tells his mom where he's going for the weekend and he mentions "I'm going to Cedar Point with so and so"....

I think in an episode of "The Middle" they said something about Cedar Point.

Not sure if it would count as scripted or not, but it was just mentioned on American Restoration a few months ago.

You are correct The Middle: Season 2, Episode 5
Foreign Exchange (20 Oct. 2010)
They mention that they are taking their foreign ex tangle student to cedar point

!!!Spoiler alert for This Is The End!!!

At the end of the movie, some of the characters make it to heaven and Millennium Force is one of the things seen in the background in heaven. There is also another wooden coaster that I can't identify but Millennium jumps out because its a shot of the first hill and overbanked turn.

^ It's only a spoiler if we knew what movie you were speaking of. Some may know but I do not...

I know I have seen some give me some more time to thinK.

Although it isn't Cedar Point, it is park most of will always hold dear to our hearts.
In How I met your Mother, Ted's mother mentions that He went to Geuage Lake with his friends and purchased a pioneer photograph.

I think a TV family(doesn't matter which one) should film an episode at Cedar Point. Full House went to Disney World, The Brady Bunch went to Kings Island. I think that would be neat.

I think every ABC show eventually has an episode at Disney World or Disneyland. :)

The made for TV Evil Kneivel movie 10 years ago used the Cedar Point skyline for his jump at Kings Island.

Even better, it was a modern skyline when it was supposed to be in the 70's.

That's almost what a weekend at Breakers costs right?

The estimated retail value for a prize is usually a pretty liberal estimate. We won a vacation a few years ago as part of a contest from a game company. The actual cost ended up being half of the original estimate listed in the fine print.

I think The Price Is Right inflates their prices.

It's because they're aired in California, where the cost of living is a lot more than Northern Ohio.

There is a Sandusky, Ohio reference in "50 First Dates", where "Callahan Institute" is spouse to be.

And Tommy Boy takes place in Sandusky, which the name of the company is Callahan, which is what that is referring to. Dan Aykroyd was the actor who said that and he also starred in Tommy Boy as the CEO of a rival company where he tried to buy out Callahan.
