Fast lane for Gatekeeper?

Anyone heard if Gatekeeper is going to be added to the fast lane line up or if it going to be one of the coasters operating an hour before the park opens?

I have no doubts that it'll have Fast Lane and Early Entry. They're also looking into having a single rider line.

Single rider lane, that would be a nice addition.

A single rider line would be nice. Hopefully they run it better than on Maverick.

Maverick's single rider line is a joke... pointless. Even if it were to be faster, it almost never is because the attendant at the top of the stairs is usually clueless.

A REAL single rider line for GK, like Diamonback used to have, would be awesome. Except, I doubt as a single rider you would ever get an outside seat.

I managed to snag a few outer seat rides on Diamondback when they had the single rider line. Groups of 3 seem to sit together.

I agree 100% with MaverickLaunch I don't know why when there are 2 people waiting from the single rider line they don't let them right in. Kind of defeats the purpose of the line.

That's not really what I was saying.

Single rider lines are designed to pair singles, with odd-numbered groups, ie groups of 1,3,5 etc. When an odd number group reaches the platform attendant, the attendant should pair a single rider with one of the people in the odd numbered group. Doing what you suggested would slow the regular line considerably, cause then what is to stop me and my friend from going up the single rider line, and then getting to ride together?

The problem is the platform attendants are often comatose, and pay no attention to the single rider line, or fail to query the size of each group so that a single may be paired with them.

It's great in theory,but poorly implemented in reality.

Most ski resorts have single rider lines on each lift and the attendants are on the ball enough to make it work great. If a single rider line is something CP is dedicated to, I'm sure they can train the ride ops to perform as well as the ski resorts do. But, dedication is the key, Maverick's single rider line seems like it is run like an afterthought.

That, and it starts WAY to far into the que to be of any benefit.

Even when it was working as designed, and staffed correctly, it really won't save you too much more than 5 minutes at most.
