2015 Season Pass Sales Now Live

You can check it out at the link below for all the details. What I found most interesting is that a Platinum Pass with Dining is now true Platinum Dining, meaning you'll get your meals at all CFEC amusement and outdoor water parks. This would have come in handy on our trips out to Kings Island this summer.

Do note that the wait time has increased to four hours between meals and the cost has increased from $72-$84, up to $81 for regular passholders and $99 for platinum. $18 more to eat at the other parks? Sign me up.

To find more info on Platinum + Dining, simply click "Buy Now" under "Platinum Passes".

I noticed that Dinosaurs Aliveis still listed for next year. I was hoping that maybe that attraction would be replaced with something new.

I pulled up the page you linked & do not see the all park dining listed under the renewal on the far right for the only pass + dining

However, if you get all parks with dining, sweet gig I would say. I probably won't renew anytime soon atm, but neat that it's not a per park basis, but I feel that may bite them in the ass at some point. I know I've exhausted my KI one that's for sure.

Edit: nvm..under the buy tab, not more info for plat passes.

Yep, I can't get a link directly to the accesso store so you'll have to pull it up for the Platinum + Dining option.

Does anyone know when, and if the prices are going to go up?

Yes. Cedar Point and Cedar Fair know. :)

Really though, the end of season promos typically run through the end of the season. They may be renewed beyond that but we never know for sure. You can always take advantage of the 9 month payment plan. Platinum with Dining would only be $31/mo with tax on the dining plan due with the first payment.

Glad to hear it's staying. Our daughter absolutely loved DA, and as Platinum Pass holders, the price was right. :)

I'm surprised they counted that as admission btw in Q3 results btw..but I may not personally think it's great, but it pulls a crowd, amazes kids, and honestly..what else are you really wanting to put on the little island?

KI is giving Platinum/Gold renewals a FastLane+ free for any Sunday in 2014.

Which is going to be crazy..

I'd be curious to see if the FL line is longer than the standard queue, and people leave to go over to FL..

Plus coupled with all the bring a friend discounts..I fear Sundays will be crazy days in the park this season.

That's a terrible idea. When I was at the park 2 Sunday's ago, the MF line was at a standstill for about 10 minutes several times while they let Fast Lane users in. That day changed my opinion on Fast Lane, now I hate it. I think everyone should just wait like everyone else. The line goes alot faster when there aren't many Fast Lane users. I'm all for CP and CF making some money, but not at the expense of ruining the experience for guests who don't buy a Fast Lane.

I think everyone should just wait like everyone else.

But that's not the case now. Some people can't even afford to go to the park in the first place. Should CP lower their gate price so that everyone can wait like everyone else? I mean, that would be the fairest thing to do. Of course, with a lower gate price, lines would be horrendously long, since the park would presumably have a lot more guests every day.

What it really sounds like is that you're saying you don't want anyone to have a better experience than you, because you can't or won't pay for FL.

djDaemon, Thabto does make a point. I'm sure he can buy Fastlane, but he just chooses not too. The price on it are kind of high, but I still usually buy it when I go. It does make lines slower, and longer. I also think Millennium Force should be added on to the Fastlane plus.

Switching Maverick to FL+, didn't make much of an impact. That day, even the FL+ was showing a 45 minute wait. I think they should price FL even higher so they can price more people out of it. It doesn't look like the price barrier is impacting many guests. Since I visit the park frequently, there is no value in FL for me. It may be good for those who don't go to the park often, but since I go several times a year, I don't see the need to use it. I'd rather play Plinko a few times and win FOTL passes. I'm not trying to start a FL debate here, I was just saying that KI giving FL+ was a bad idea due to the high number of FL users stalling the standby line one day while I was at the park.

Just a question, are FOTL paases supposed to get you immediate boarding, when you win them from plinko?

Ok, I thought they seated you immediately, like on Millennium Force, I thought they seated you on the exit platform. Am I wrong?

I've only used FOTL on Maverick. Can't say for MF.

Judging by the number of people who had no clue about the all season dining plan, free dinosaurs alive, etc... I'm going to guess many renewing pass holders will have no idea they'll get a free fast lane at KI. I would wager less than 50% of renewals will take advantage of the offer.
