Celebration Plaza work?

OK, so Tony ended one blog post with this photo and caption noting more news as things took shape.

OK, cool, obviously they will do something with the space. However, in looking at the picture there seems to be a blue crane of some kind with its arm extended out and over where the location of the lighting booth and temporary grand stands typically are.

Might they make more meaningful adjustments to traffic flow and stage locations yet this off-season?

Well they've certainly got more room now. I'm just curious about how much of the Luminosity stage and setup was actually permanent versus able to be easily taken down.

By some freak stroke of luck I dialed into the webcam as security (or somebody) started popping the camera to various positions. I grabbed one really nice look at the GTT area. Nothing earth shattering except for what looks to be purely green grass/mud.

Where are you seeing a crane?

I think he was saying he just happened to be watching the cameras as they were changing them. At first I thought he meant he hacked the cameras but then reread the post and it made more sense.

Making sense isn't what I do. I have people for that.

The crane in the one pic might have been much further down than the control tower though. Who knows when the pic was actually taken though. Anyway, doesn't look like more than grass will go there, maybe a fence.

Lol, now I get it. Thanks for clearing that up.

Lots of extra fiber and cardio.

The question I have is IF they will fence the area off to keep people off the grass once it finally grows-in. I can't think they'll want dirt and dust flying in the wind, nor will it really be suitable for high traffic.

They are decharming the Turnpike area right now.

Brandon

DJ is correct. It looks like trees are coming down in the Turnpike infield. So sad.

That is so sad. That was one of the few remaining areas of the park that was filled with trees.
