Fast Lane or Fast Lane + and why

Hey everyone, I am a first time writer on this forum, I have heard and read a lot about Cedar Point and I would love to go there someday however before I ever even think of planning a trip I have a couple of questions to ask. My first question is about the Fast Lane system and I am just wondering Fast Lane or Fast Lane+ which of these has the least amount of wait time and the most rides on it? One thing to know about me is I love roller coasters so if I ever get to visit Cedar Point I will plan on ridding lots of coasters.

The other question that I have is what are crowds like throughout the year, are weekdays during the summer as bad as say a weekday in May or a weekend in September or October? If anyone knows the answers to these questions it would really help. Thanks.

I can help elaborate on the previous answer in a bit more detail. I live 1 hour away, so I try to go 2 or 3 times per month. Fast Lane has rides that you can get use out of, but the ones that normally have lines (Maverick, Dragster, Millennium) are left out. I would get a plus if you can afford it, or just not get one at all and stay an extra day.
The best times to go are weekdays in May or Sundays in September/October, as school is going on then and many of the normal visitors are teens or have children who go to school. Also, the Sunday's during halloweekends aren't as crowded because the park isn't open for a very long time. Weekdays in the summer are unpredictable, because if the weather is nice, it can be just as bad as going on a holiday (4th of July, Labor Day), or it can be relatively empty.

Hope this helps.

Go Intamin.

Hey Meanstreak!

I live a few states away from Cedar Point, so I only get to go once a year... Because of that, I buy a Fast Lane+ pass.

The Fast Lane and Fastlane+ give access to skip large portions of the line for most of the rides in the park. The biggest difference between Fast Lane and Fast Lane+ is that Fast Lane+ just gives you access to a few more coasters.

The complete list of coasters can be seen here:

If you are not planning on spending multiple days in the park, and if you can afford the cost, I would highly recommend it.

As far as times of year to go, the crowds during weekends in September and October tend to be very heavy due to the pleasant temperatures and Halloweekends event. If you go during those months, Fast Lane is almost necessary. Keep in mind, if you are traveling from far away, the risk of bad weather during those months could put a hamper on your fun.

I know many on here say that May is a good time to go before schools let out!

Hey xfireboyx thanks for the information this really answers my questions, If I ever get to visit Cedar Point I will remember two things one is May is the best time to go (I have been reading that a lot on here) and the other thing I will remember is to get a Fast Lane + Pass. Thanks again for the information.
