Is it windy?

I heard it got hit by lightning during the last big storm. Perhaps the lightning strike (or strikes) did some serious damage to electrical components. Keep in mind though that this wouldn't be the first time they've dealt with this kind of problem. I'm sure they'll have it fixed sooner than later......unless it's super serious.

King's Island has it posted on an electronic board by the front gates which rides won't be open. After Vortex's chain broke a few weeks ago they had it everywhere telling people it was down.

Since the ride has been down since the lightning/thunder storms (and yes, it was hit quite a few times during both storms), my guess would be an electrical failure.

How reliable is windseeker in being open?

Does anybody know why TTD has been closed for the whole day or most of the day for the past two days???

We were told that it got hit by lightning Friday. It was out of service all day Friday and at least half day Saturday. Saturday at 11, I updated the iPhone app to show out of service and someone else updated it to be a 15 minute wait. When I updated it again at 12:30 as out of service, it would not update. Perhaps Cedar Point management updates the app, trying to get people in the park even though the big rides are down?

Also, on Sunday early entry, Maverick was down, Milly was running for a little while and then it was down for about 1 hour. "Official" reason given was that "all of the Intamin rides had trouble running in the heat".

I call B.S.

I agree with the B.S., part.

That's just what happens when a little used app relies on its users to be accurate. Even if it were accurate, it wouldn't have any effect on keeping people out of the park, and not worthy of the effort in manipulating it.

CP should get one of these and put them near the "Main intersections" Of the park.

Or maybe even at the "Front Gate".

Well they should have them in more places than just at the front gate.
