Reminds me of Millennium Mania for those of you who remember back in 2001. Good times.

Anyone else think it looks like a Lake Erie Monster?

I don't know. It kinda looks a crown of some kind. Maybe sitting on top of the head of some bird-type creature...almost like a raven.

I don't know. Could be anything.

This logo looks crude and amateurish for a modern graphic design. There is no depth or texturing. Overall it has an unfinished feel to it since it really doesn't convey a message or purpose.

My guess is it's not the actual logo or even part of it.

Yeah, this is the same crown on the raven in the Valravn logo that was in the app.

Very true. And considering this is the final version of the official logo, you have every right to be disappointed.

We all do.

And nice save with your edit as well. ;)

Yes, this should look very familiar to everyone on here.

Yes! This absolutely wreaks of MM and in a good way. I'm excited about it and will be there. I have a feeling if you are looking for the Holy Grail of riding days, this will be it.

As I opined over at CBuzz, it looks like Sauron is thoughtful.

Wait, it's free for 2016 passholders, and not 2015 passholders? That's bogus.

No it's not. This is an incentive for people to buy 2016 season passes....plain and simple. Allowing current season/platinum pass holders defeats the purpose of the whole thing.

I probably wasn't going anyway whether it was free or not since I'm going next Monday and then again that Sunday for Fall Freak Out. I kind of figured this was something to drive 2016 pass sales since current passholders are excluded.

Yeah, $18 isn't keeping me away from this...

It's what?

That logo looks very similar to the Lake Erie Monsters hockey logo

It does?

If only the coasters are open will the lines really be that short? I would imagine a fair amount of people would take advantage of only $18 to get in with free parking if it's well advertised. Have they done this before?

djDaemon's avatar

The park isn't open to the public the following day, so I can't imagine the crowds will be all that large, especially considering all the main people-eating attractions will be open.

I don't know, I'm thinking only $18 to ride all the coasters for four hours would be a pretty big draw. Might even attract people who find CP too expensive normally.
