Thoughts on crowds for Halloween weekend?

I am considering booking a hotel today as the weather looks okay thus far. Does anyone have a sense is the park is going to be uber crowded? That may sway my decision.

Thanks!

Ray

You just opened yourself up to the cliche

"How crowded will the park be on <any given date>" link. Get ready.

Anyway, I'm going. Last chance of the year. Don't care about the crowds. It's going to be a long winter.

There are a hundred threads on how crowded the park will be on a given day. My advice is just book your room, go to the park and have a great time. Last chance for 6 months.....

Is it better to book OR not book and be mad at yourself for not booking ???

Since the temperatures look cold this weekend, I would wager it not being too busy. But then again, this is the last weekend of the year, so weather might be less of a deterrent.

I know, I know - Just figured perhaps someone with some inside knowledge would know. :)

There is no inside knowledge except for those who can see/visit the future... Did you think someone with said credentials were on this board?

I dont think they will be too busy, they still have a lot of open hotel rooms at Breakers considering they let me book one of our nights for $92.

Maybe he used a Talkboy to make the reservation.

My parents book 2 nights at Breakers, but they wanted me to go on the live chat thing and change one night (Friday) to breakers express, so I went on and she ended up letting us stay at Breakers on Friday for the same price as Breakers Express to save us the inconvenience of having to switch rooms.

Your parents! Damn, here I thought you were "getting away" with something.

I'm on this board. I can also see into the future. I don't get to travel there with you though. I know for a fact that if your main concern is crowds, which is mine too. You will buy individual tickets for Friday and Sunday. But who'd do that. Not much to do on Saturday unless you like waiting in line. I have been to closing weekend a few times and like those times there will be snowflakes. Sundays and Fridays. If you go make sure you watch the Skeleton Crew show at 11 when it's 40 degrees outside. Really shows how good these performers are.
