Winter at Cedar Point

To compete with other Christmas events, like Zoo Lights at the Cleveland Zoo, Cedar Point needs to leverage the resorts to attract people from a wider area to spend the entire weekend.

I'm pretty sure Breakers Tower and Breakers East would be able to function in the winter, plus they have Castaway Bay. If they renovate Breakers a little with a Spa, a real lounge with entertainment, etc., they could market it as an ideal getaway with both outdoor and indoor holiday entertainment, for both kids and adults.

The pictures of Europa Park show that the park really has it going on for the holidays. No reason CP can't provide quality holiday entertainment like that, with enough stuff for the entire weekend, if they try and actually want to.

I actually did attend Christmas in the Park the year they had it. There was nothing to do, outside of the carriage ride. It really seemed like its main function was to sell you a season pass.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
