Winds close Point rides

Sustained wind gusts of 50 mph caused some minor damage in Sandusky on Sunday and closed some of Cedar Point's major rides, the Sandusky Register reported. Cedar Point spokeswoman Janice Witherow told the Register that the park closed Millenium Force, Magnum XL-200, Raptor, Sky Ride, and Space Spiral. Top Thrill Dragster, however, was open all day.
