Cedar Point sells Michigan property

Cedar Point had brief interest in mid-1970s to develop an amusement park in Michigan

After 38 years, more than 465 acres of land in Cambridge Township, Michigan has passed from Cedar Point to a Michigan couple.

Information provided Tuesday by the Lenawee County Register of Deeds office shows Cedar Point of Michigan Inc. signed a land contract sale agreement April 26 with Dale and Dee Warner of Tecumseh. That agreement showed the transfer of 10 parcels totaling 465.14 acres from Cedar Point to the Warners.
