Everyone has awards for Cedar Point!

Members of The Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain, 92 of them to be exact, will descend upon Cedar Point Monday and Tuesday, June 21 and 22, on the last stop of their 16-day world tour. According to a Cedar Point press release, founder and club president Andrew Hine says, "Our members absolutely adore Cedar Point."

The British club has awarded Cedar Point with its "Best International Amusement Park" award for nine straight years. Magnum also gets a pat on the lap bar as "Best International Steel Roller Coaster." Smashing!

While we're handing out awards, the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA), responsible for Discovery Channel's top ten special, voted Magnum "favorite steel coaster" for the eighth straight year. Meanwhile, Family Fun magazine readers voted Cedar Point the "top amusement park in the Midwest for families." Cedar Fair couldn't buy publicity like this!
