Cedar Point attendance dips 4 percent in 2014

Despite drop, Cedar Point remains the top seasonal park in the United States

Cedar Point attendance dipped by 4 percent in 2014, according to figures released today by the Themed Entertainment Association, a nonprofit industry group.

According to the association, Cedar Point drew 3.247 million visitors in 2014, down from 3.382 million the year before.

Because Cedar Point does not release attendance figures, the association relies on historical information, financial reports, local tourism organizations and the investment banking community to estimate its figures.
