Planned water park not a concern

Representatives from The Beach Waterpark and Paramount's Kings Island, both located near Cincinnati, are not too concerned about the potential in-state competition from Cedar Point's proposed indoor water park, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Despite the tremendous success of Great Bear Lodge and the incoming Kalahari Resort, Tara Nahrup, public relations manager for The Beach, doesn't think the indoor water park will be a destination by itself.
"I think it's going to be a benefit of going to Cedar Point. I don't think anyone's going to go up there just because of a water park," Nahrup told the Enquirer.
