Cedar Point historian David Francis passes away

Advertising executive David Francis, 58, passed away July 30, 2006.

Born in Maple Heights, Ohio, he had resided in Wadsworth since 1983. The author of more than a dozen books on the history of amusement parks and summer resorts, David was the leading expert on Sandusky's Cedar Point, and often shared his knowledge through presentations before various groups and organizations.
