Anyone capture this on the Webcam?

I was there today and when it was up there , if you looked around, everybody was looking up. We were over by woodstock express and it was neat to see the elevator go up to the top. When we were walking back, the worker that went to the top told me that they tried to get the people to rock back and forth at the same time, but still couldn't get it to go one way or another.

Shouldn't the new drive wheels at the top have taken care of that? ;)

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

I think its called stopped, not stuck.

There really isnt a official name for what happened. We can call it whatever we want.

Anyone from the park know how long it was stuck/stopped/frozen/down mechanical/fubar'd at the top of the tower?

wussies with their blankets...

It was about 5:00 when it got "stuck". My daughter and I rode Iron Dragon around 4:30 and saw that Dragster was down at that time and people were walking out of the line. My wife took some pictures from Camp Snoopy but you can't see much except the elevator going up and maybe one of the three people that went up to push it over the top. Here they are anyway

Those anti-rollback wheels really did their job that time.

Hey Guys, I haven't been on here in forever to post, but had to now. I was next train after it got stuck. It had went down for mechanical then they launched the yellow train and it barley made it, we thought roll back but not. Then the purple train launched, and Obviously that didn't work out too well. I captured some crappy cell phone video.

It may still be processing.

Edit: It was stuck/stopped for about 15-20 min. They had a few times practice in the past years ;) Management swarmed the place in a matter of seconds. It was a very well handled situation.

Times like this it is fun to read threads from before the ride opened when everyone thought it couldn't/wouldn't happen.

I had mixed feelings about it happening to us when we rode. During our ride it was close to not going. (At the same time im saying go and not go.) What are the odds of that. Maintenance Guy Bob, says 1 in a million. If it had happened twice in that time period, I would have left to go play the lottery or something. Right, then and there.

Wouldyou guys lay off the crack for just a moment, please? I'll give you abetter analogy. It's like trying to balance a Toyota on a toothpick. The thing is on wheels, kiddies. Things on wheels tend to roll.

Boy, Jeff was really right on top of that one. Teehee.

I'm happy to say I was up there as well today and witnessed it as it happened. I was just getting off Power Tower as a matter of fact when it did happen. I have a picture of it, however I don't have it loaded on my hard drive yet to show off yet.

Yes, but the stiff wind off the lake was brutal.
