Cedar Point on TV or in the movies?

I was wondering if a major TV show or motion picture has ever been filmed at Cedar Point. Anyone know?

What got me thinking about this was watching an episode of the Partridge Family where they were at Kings Island. It was cool to remember (and see) what KI looked like back in the 70s after just opening. The Brady Bunch also filmed an episode there.

I think CP would make an excellent backdrop for a motion picture or an episode of a TV show.

Actually there is a movie that was shot on location at Cedar Point and other locations in Sandusky in the 90's, but it's not a major film.

I remember seeing a scene being shot in a back room of what is now Famous Daves and I know the location of where some other scenes were filmed (but the building no longer exists).

It's a more independent and alternative film if you catch my drift. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea. ;)

That was the Brady Bunch that were at King Island.

The IMDB review of Close Encounters cracks me up!

Or This.

Evel Knievel was apparently so awesome that he was able to do a jump at King's Island in 197x with Millennium Force in the background.

Apparently this topic and some of the answers have been discussed before. (Hey, even I forgot about it till I took a good peak at my past posts history.) :)

^^Just added it to my Netflix list. I gotta see this. :)
