Jet ski rental

Hey everyone, I've been going to Cedar Point for years and am thinking about doing the waverunner rental there for the first time to do something new. I couldn't find any reviews or anyones experiences while surfing the web and I was just wondering if anyone here did it and what they thought. It's my first time jet skiing at all so I don't really know what to expect...like how fast this waverunner goes etc. I just don't know if it'd be worth it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys

Im not sure of what models they have, but you can expect any where from 45 to 60 MPH unless they have them limited (which may be the case for liability purposes).

Your ride will depend on the weather conditions. It can get choppy at times on that side depending on the wind patterns so prepare for a change of clothes if things get sloppy.

Beeeeehhhhhhh!!!!!

The models they have a three seat yamahas those one have a programmable limiter which when I talked to the guys last I believe they had them limited to 40. Since you have never rode one before just fyi the speedo on a boat and especially a waverunner reads faster then what they are actually doing. Also don't forget you need to give gas to turn thankfully your in lake erie ive seen way to many first timers beach those things because they forgot in ponds lol.

We were going to do that, but for the money and time allotment on the jet skis, we felt that para-sailing was the better option. That was a great experience and view of Cedar Point!

The parasailing is fantastic!

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Thanks for the info! Regarding the parasailing, I'm also interested in that...if 2 people were to do that together at the same time and were interested doing the Approx. 15 minutes. 1,000 feet of tow line for $130 special, would we be each paying the $130 each or do we split the $130. Theres so little info online regarding this so thanks for all your help!

I believe that is the price per person. Depending on the weight of the passengers and the weather conditions, you may or may not be able to do two people at once. When I did it we had to go individually, but you also get a lot more lift without the added weight of a second person, so then there's that.

I personally believe the price for their waverunners is a bit much but I have rented them in the past until I started bringing my own there. Its run by north coast parasail and jet ski I believe and they are also gonna run boat charters this year. I only know because the only place I can get my waverunner worked on is up there and they take their waverunners there also. 419-627-2279 is their phone number and their website is www.northcoastparasail.com If your a novice rider I would recommend a day when the lake is very calm. The waverunners are limited to about 40 MPH but your really only going around 30 and that is still fast on the water.

P.S. If you see a purple and white GP800R sporting a green badge on its port side you stand no chance of winning a race against it. I have been clocked at 72 MPH.

It wouldn't be very Negligent of me to spell my name correctly.
