Early Entry, Really an Advantage??

I am wavering over buying a Platinum Annual Pass for trip in August that will include CP and Canada's Wonderland. As Wonderland only has early entry one day a week and very few rides open during it, the decision comes down to how much of an advantage it is at CP.

So, would a Wonderland Platinum Pass get me early entry into CP?

How many rides are open during early entry at CP and is it always the same rides?

If I am buying a Fast Lane, is early entry much of an advantage?

Thanks for any assistance.

Also consider the other perks of a platinum pass. Free parking, dining discounts, merchandise discounts etc. Depending on what your plans are those could add up.

If your Platinum Pass gets you in the gate at a given park, it gives you all Platinum Perks available at that park. This includes all passholder discounts, events, ERT, and early entry. All of this is in addition to admission and parking. A Platinum Pass from Cedar Point is treated the same at Canada's Wonderland as their own Platinum Passes and vice versa.

Cedar Point's Early Entry rides are listed here and generally stay the same throughout the season. It's an advantage whether or not you have a FastLane wristband because it's extra ride time. Simple as that. You might not need it, but it's the same advantage either way.

Yes, a Wonderland PP gets you early entry into CP... Rougarou, GateKeeper, Ocean Motion, Midway Carrousel, Raptor, Millennium Force, Iron Dragon, Maverick and Planet Snoopy are the early entry rides at CP...

Wonderland gives little/no benefits to it's PP holders, I'm pretty sure the only people that buy them there are people who plan on visiting other parks...

I personally find Fast Lane is more of an advantage than early entry is, but YMMV...
