"Mysterious, for now" but the question is Tony, how much longer? If the campout is the 15-16 is it safe to say we will hear an announcement shortly after, if not at the campout? At the campout would be a great time to do it.

Man, this would be such a blast!

And if I'm reading correctly, this is for anyone? Meaning you don't have to be in a coaster club or anything to be able to register?

Exactly. It's open to anyone willing to pay the $200. It's always cool to see things like this done for charity. And, hopefully, attendees will be treated to an experience similar to the first campout.

Can't wait for this event. I've attended both Coaster Campout events thus far and I definitely recommend them as a unique experience to actually sleep in the park and get exclusive ride time. $200 is still cheaper than a night at Breakers too, and it all goes to charity anyways so it's a win for everyone.

I would go but don't feel like spending $200 again.

Of course if it rains, Breakers gives you a roof for your $$$. They do if it doesn't rain, too. :)

Well that's the trade off of having the experience of sleeping in the park all night. I didn't say it was for everyone! It did rain the first campout and I can't speak for everyone there but it was nice and dry inside my tent. Also don't forget that Breakers doesn't supply the food, tickets or ERT for your money either like this event.

I searched and couldn't find any posts on how this event went over.

I was wondering if it was a success or not.

It's a secret.

I attended. It went well, many people were there. The s'mores and free drinks were nice on the first night. I get 14 rides on Millennium Force in under an hour during the morning ERT, and there were some breakfast snacks such as dounts, coffee, water, orange juice.

I thought it went great, ERT was awesome as Alex says (I think I had 13 rides in an hour) and I'll continue to attend these in the future. It's always great to see guests attend these who aren't "enthusiasts" and are ecstatic to have an opportunity to ride Millennium Force a dozen times in a row. Last weekend's ACE event was also a fun time, with nowhere near enough attendees to fill all six trains on Maverick, I managed to keep my front row seat for the entire hour without having to leave the train. It was quite an endurance test for my stomach...
