First time staying on site - Driving questions

I’ve been to CP many times, but it is my first time staying on site. Rented one of the cabins for two nights.

Promotional material on the web site says registered guests park free. I’ve only ever come through the main booths into the front lot.

Where do we park for Lighthouse Point, and how do I get back there? The perimeter road that runs by the marina?

Is there a special entrance to get to the perimeter road? Or do I show my registration confirmation at the booth?

Or will CP send me additional information? All I have received thus far is a confirmation email that simply includes the dates and the cabin accommodation descriptions.

All help is very much appreciated. Feeling a bit lost!

Take the regular entrance but enter through the far left lane. Tell the toll booth employee you are staying at lighthouse pointe.

You'll be given a card for your dash and then instructed to bear left as you approach the parking lot and then take the marina road around to the lighthouse pointe section.

You'll have to pay for your parking but will get it refunded when you check in at the lighthouse pointe office.

There is limited parking by the lighthouse pointe office and also parking by your cabin or cottage.

You can leave your car at lighthouse point and then enter CP at the resort entrance by Magnum.

You can also park at the soak city lot. Cedar point also has a free shuttle that runs loops from lighthouse pointe to the front gate, marina gate and resort gate.

This is extremely helpful. Thank you so much for the information!

The last couple years when we stayed at the Breakers a code was emailed to me to use at the tollbooth. So it saved the hassle of paying the fee and then getting it back at check in. If you have a platinum pass you can just use that.
I emailed CP last year because I got a code but my mom didn't for her room and they said the emails were automatically generated.

Thanks for the tip, Chris9ty. I will keep an eye out for an email.

Just an update for everyone. The gate attendant asked for our confirmation number and we weren't asked to pay for parking. Most park employees were the best they've ever been: friendly, helpful, and attentive. Those charged with cleaning the room could have done a much better job, but overall, we had a wonderful visit

Just tell them at the tollbooth when you come in that you are going to Lighthouse Point, they will direct you there. And there is parking back there.

Thanks, TG. I am very excited about it. My friends think it’s too expensive, but I say slowing down and soaking in life is worth the expense! :)

Everything is expensive there compared to everday living. Slowing down and taking in the experience is soo worth it. As I get older (40's), I sacrafice somethings during the year to try and go all out on vacation.
