RMC Streak Photo Update - May 7, 2017

After reviewing the drone footage from outside the park that was not deleted, I do not see the triple up. I just see a double up going into midcourse. Let me know if I am missing something please.

Yeah I now realize I had a brain fart. I was thinking the return portion that ran parallel with the double up into the inversion would be an upward portion, but that would make it a downward portion. So it's a double down that leads to a double up into the brake run.

Came across this on the book of faces. Track work has begun and is close to halfway done on the MCBR. The anticipation is building.

Was watching Ignite the Night yesterday, and throughout the whole show they kept bringing up the mean streak pov, pictures, and played the cackle noises from the mean streak closing video. Then right after the cackle, the words "announcement soon" came up for literally 1 second on screen. Excited to see more soon.

Totally agree, corkscrew is good as is, new trains would be nice. Even if they just gave the seats and OTSR a refresh on corkscrew it would be a huge improvement.

Even at a mild 6'0" the lack of leg room in there for me is hilariously small. It felt like I was sitting in a smart car.

The most dangerous enemy is the one you don't know you have.

Did you ever sit in the front seat on Corkscrew? It is the most comfortable seat ever, at 6'2" I can stretch my legs out completely, like sitting in a recliner.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Yes, the front is the only seat I can ride in on corkscrew.

As Luminosity was mentioned up thread, I'll also add something that may be nothing... A few dance numbers involved flags with the Battle For Cedar Point crests. Along with the 5 we know, there was a sixth I'd never seen- a coaster hill on a blue field with a crown over it. Maybe the crest for RMC Streak? I don't see how it won't be part of Battle.

CP Rundown reports that there is now track on the MCBR.

Brian
Valravn Rides: 24| Steel Vengeance Rides: 27| Dragster Rollbacks: 1

MCBR complete.

Well, that was fast. Can't wait to see what the second half of the ride looks like with the new track.

Can you imagine the on-ride photo and merchandise sales for DP.... I think there is great potential for DP videos and photos.

I see what you did there

Less then a month away from the announcement, i hope they put out some more teasers before the announcement.

Valravn wasn't announced until September. I wouldn't say less than a month until the announcement quite yet.

Technically, Valravn was supposed to be announced much earlier, however the unfortunate incident with Raptor caused it to be postponed.

I think they hold off on an announcement until the start of Halloweekends. Makes perfect sense with the funeral of MS last year and the glowing red light coming from the gravesite. Marketing victory on both fronts.

Frankly, I hope not. I'm worn out by all this speculation.
