CoasterMania 2018

Now question is, stay at Breakers Express for 300 or Cottage at light house point for 500.....

Only needing to walk back to hotel is a decent benefit, just not sure if its that much worth it. (They killed my previous years option at Sandcastle :( )

How soon did tickets sell out the last 2 years?

IIRC, it took a while. At least a week or 2.

Not true, I was able to buy my ticket last year for CoasterMania on May 29th just a few days before the event. This year, I predict it will sell out VERY fast!

^ Keep in mind the late ERT is at the front of the park this year, which will make the walk to Lighthouse Point that much longer. We got the MANIA rate at Express. Stayed at Sandcastle Suites the last 2 CoasterManias and that walk feels like forever after an 18hr day!

True, but this is for Friday and Saturday night. Would be doing waterpark that Saturday. Valid point on the front of the park part as the shuttles stop running by the end of it.

There were 2 sell out dates last year. I'm not sure of the 1st, but on May 29th, Tony released additional tickets. Someone said 30. Perhaps you were one of the lucky procrastinators that snagged one of those 30. Those tickets weren't likely available very long.

That's interesting, I checked it a ton and every time I did tickets were for sale. I got mine last min as I didn't think I would be able to get the time off.

I'm shocked, that with nearly 3 months notice, you can't be guaranteed to have a day off.

That's retail for you... I also had to wait and see if the lady the just had her baby was going to be back when I left.

Different places have different ways to ask for off. One of my friends will be waiting til week of pretty much to see if he'll go, so he'll be on the hunt for reissued/cancellation tickets.

Jason is correct about the last minute release of additional tickets last year, as I was one of the procrastinators to take advantage of it. :)

Got mine, and also 2 nights at The Breakers. Good times!

Just got mine, now I feel whole.

Didn't have to stay up to midnight, cough cough, I mean 12:30 A.M. to get tickets.

just got mine !

Well, you won't see Everybody. That would be impossible! There will be a lot of people there though. :-)

Maui Sands still has some great Groupon offers. Don’t let the bedbugs bite.

Let me restate that. We'll see everybody that bought a ticket on June 1st.

This is where I make the annual reminder that if you're going as a CoasterBuzz Club member, please, buy your membership as early as possible. The USPS isn't exactly reliable, and no, I won't be there to hand you a card personally because I life a thousand miles away. I definitely won't be overnighting cards.

I'm just messing with you. :-)
For example, if I wanted to continue the joke, I would say, "Anyone buying a ticket on June 1st wouldn't be getting into the event. So, you definitely wouldn't see them." ;-)

See y’all there! I’m hoping the park really makes the cost worth it with some delish foodstuffs and lightly attended ERT. Fingers crossed!
