If you could change a ride layout?

So in short you basically want frontier lift back(or at least the extension that went to frontier town)? I can't say I disagree with you, because that would actually be cool. While I wasn't even thought of when that ride was around, I still think it would have been nice to get on the sky ride at the station by raptor, then at the next station, then go all the way to frontier town and get off next to Skyhawk.

^ Man I was hoping you or Sparty was going to chime in on my idea I mentioned a couple days ago. Uuugghh!

In all seriousness though, not a layout change, but I think it would be awesome if they put blue infinity coaster lights through the track of Millennium Force.

Shawn, I think fixing those turns in Rougarou and Raptor would please most people, but I personally am not bothered by it.

Build a slurry wall around the entire peninsula down to solid rock so future rides can dive underground. A steal at several hundred million.

Count me in for a TC treatment for Gemini. No series lift hills nonsense though; give us a parallel launch. First launch out of the station, complete one half, second launch back in the station alongside another train on the first launch, complete second half, back to the station. Duel, race, handshakes.

If we build it, they will come.

I’d change Rougarou back to Mantis. If it’s gonna hurt people, you might as well own up
To it. Wether you feet are dangling and heads banging or your testes are up your back side. It needs to go.

^ Uuugghh! I guess it's just me and a few other people that like Rougarou. I'd rather not get off a ride where my balls hurt afterwards. As a man, I like to say they come in handy lol. Cedar Point, please just modify it like I suggested in this topic. Don't remove it.

I truly feel a lot of people claim they don’t like Rougarou because they’re jumping on the bandwagon of it hurting on the second half. I personally have never experienced any pain. I love Rougarou and am thankful for the transition to a floorless.

Eh, it's better as a floorless than it was as a standup. But it's still a ride that's too mediocre, in my opinion, to compensate for the headbanging.

But I don't think it will be removed anytime soon. They just invested money into it, and it doesn't take up too much real estate.

Yeah, modify rougarou for the third time...Why not have B&M use the vest restraints on this coaster? that'll get rid of the headbanging.

Because those trains are physically incompatible with Rougarou. The park specifically mentioned that the station wasn't wide enough, and I imagine there would be issues around the course, given how compact the layout is.

Brandon

^ Well someone mentioned either on this thread or a couple pages back that they could make the seats three across which would allow them to install the vest restraints. Anyone else read that? I'm not sure If they would consider that or not, but If it were me I'd say go for it.

I would change the sky ride's layout so that it turns 30 degrees at its current terminus near the scrambler and then continues down the frontier trail to frontier town. In this new configuration people would have the choice to enter or leave at three different stations: one at the front of the park, one in the middle of the park, or one in the back of the park.

So you want the frontier lift back? I honestly can understand where you're coming from. TBH, I wasn't even alive when that ride came out. But in all seriousness, how would they even thread the new frontier lift v2.0 around other existing rides so it can make it from the raptor station, to the scrambler station, to the Skyhawk station? You have rides such as Rougarou, Iron Dragon, TTD, and whatnot in the way.

I came to answer the question: “if you could change the layout of a ride” and thought that I did?

Jimmyburke was the one who originally brought up the whole 'extend sky ride back to frontier town' idea...

As of regard to your post, I like the idea of the sky ride going back to frontier town, and I wanted to discuss how CP would make this idea work. As for my post, was the frontier lift an extension of the sky ride until iron dragon came along?

Have the new Top Thrill Sky Ride section connect at the current station, then go over the top of TTD, pivot there towards the old station in frontier town. You have a functional and thrill ride at the same time.

While we are at it let’s go full on Six Flags and have Top Thrill Dragster: Reverse Blast. Every ride is like a rollback.
