Favorite foods?

What is your favorite foods in the park and what would you like to see?

My favorite is Chick and Pete's buffalo chicken salad. I wait all year to eat it again. Like the Perch sandwich, Panda Express, all food at the water park and can't ignore Pinks.

However I would like to see some more diverse ethnic food. Not from food trucks. Italian eatery, tacos, maybe Mediterranean. What do you think?

While I know they are a chain and there is one within a few minutes of my house. Panda Express is a once a year thing for me and it has to be tied to a ride on Millennium Force. It wouldn't be the same coaster without the Orange Chicken smell!

Other than the fresh cut fries and Famous Dave's, my favorites are either off property or back at the house at the end of the night.

Wonderland has a Cafe with Indian, Italian, Greek, and more. Food there was really good, on par with Bush parks. Was not a very big place, but was designed to keep the lines moving. There was some indoor seating but most was the outdoor pavilion type.

A place like midway market could be converted to something like this, and or seating they could utilize part the group pavilions which are seldom used anymore. Midway Market sales are limited based on number of seats, but a cafe like this could handle a lot more sales.

While I would prefer a festhaus type building, but there might not be a good location for that. This could be a good in-between step.

Salad entree with (2) hand breaded chicken tenders at the "Cedar Point Shore" main eatery.

I have to say, the fried shrimp at Crystal Rock Cafe blew me away during my last visit. Those things are really delicious, and good-sized shrimp. I do wish there were 1 or 2 more, but I was thoroughly impressed by the flavor.

Crystal Rock Cafe is wonderful. Always quite satisfied with them.

Chickie's and Pete's is my overall favorite. I always loved crab fries and it's awesome to get them if I want anytime I go to CP.

Cheesesteaks under sky ride. Frontier Foldovers

Would like to see the brisket at Miss Keats actually cut like brisket instead of chopped and weighed

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

For a snack, the Parmesan fries from Mr. Potato.

For a meal, Famous Dave’s hands down.

I like the Sky Rides cheese steaks better than the Chickie's and Pete's cheese steaks. I think they are excellent.

Honestly my favorite non meal plan food is fresh cut fries with salt and vinegar. As for the best treat, try the Vengeance cake. It's amazing.

Since we seem to now be on to the ‘Best’ lists:

Best Food: Dollywood & Knoebels 2000-2017,
I didn’t see CP or any CF park even place in the top 5 of the GTAs for any year.

It is nice to see that the chain is making improvements in this area, and I’d even go so far as to say vast improvements at CP food quality for new options.
The antiquated systems and stands lead to inefficient and poor service which compounds the staffing problems.

Miss Keats is a standout, however we haven’t dined in CPS this year. Glad Chick Fil A is back, with its massive lines, for a consistent reliable option.
It now appears that staffing is likely to be an issue, so the food trucks are back! Always look forward to the trucks as it adds a diversity to the options, plus the people working the trucks actually give a damn what they’re serving and how they do it.

A trip to Cedar Point is not complete without an order of chili cheese fries.

Epcot Food & Wine is a great time.

Otherwise no favorite foods at other parks.

The mozzerella sticks at the Dragon's Inn are awesome, and Wagon Wheel pizza is real good too.

Unless something seriously changed, nothing at dragon’s inn could be considered even close to awesome. Mediocre is still reaching too far.
One plus is it’s close to the restroom, you’ll need it.

Let’s try to keep expectations close to reality, someone might be reading this and have money for one meal that day, sending them to get the deep fried cheese product out of a cardboard box from that particular stand is mean and may cause stomach irritation, spotting, and inflammation.

In all fairness, most deep fried cheese products (cheese sticks) I've had in many locations have come frozen out of a cardboard box. The Dragon's Inn cheese sticks are better than average in comparison to what I've had.
