Funpix process?

I'm going to cedar point today for the first time and we have an all day funpix. I'd prefer to not spend time early in the morning getting the actual card (right now we just have a voucher) since I'd prefer to take advantage for of shorter lines. Can I do something like record the numbers of the photos, then go get the actual funpix card later and add all of the mornings pics?

Thanks!

Go earlier than you planned and take care of it first or you just wasted your money... fun pix is done in house by CP, it's kind of a clusterf***.

New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus

I'm pretty sure you can record the numbers without issue.

CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium

The pictures are available all day. You can go back and get them later. The photo attendant will look for your picture. Its easiest if you know your photo number, but they will find it for you if you know when you were on the ride, and where you were sitting. The photo booths are all linked, so when you redeem your voucher, they can link all your pictures for you there.

I am a Cedar Fair Platinum Passholder as well as a Disney World Passholder. One of the latest perks of having a pass at Disney is the PhotoPass. Obviously, we had to also include the FunPix experience.

Unfortunately, today had multiple photo shops not open (I’m assuming because of staffing). They really are going to need to invest in some sort of technology that allows FunPix holders to access these photos, with or without an associate present at that shop. We’ve essentially “pre-purchased” our photos, and while I know I will get other chances this season, I can’t imagine purchasing a day version, waiting in line for a ride, only to find out the shop is closed on the other side.

I don’t do funpix but thought you can see and order pictures directly from the cedar point app?

Tall and fast not so much upside down...

If the photo shop at the ride exit is closed you can’t view, purchase or save your on ride photo

Is that true? I know in the past I’ve missed grabbing a picture because the line has been too long or whatever. We jotted down a note in the phone as to what time we got off the ride, and they were able to pull it up at another ride or the main FunPix kiosk. Not sure if that’s the same deal if the ride photo booth isn’t open at all.

ROUNDABOUND.

You can go to the main funpix area at the front of the park and get any photos you missed while the individual shops were closed. We did that for Millenium Force on Saturday because the station booth wasn't open yet at 9:55 am after our first ride.

And if you would by any chance miss a photo, just email them. There have been a couple times when a picture did not show up on our account for whatever reason, and it was recovered for us. All you need to know is a ballpark time you rode a certain ride (and the date of your visit of course).

The first year of FunPix was a bit rocky...especially when used across different parks, but honestly since then we have had zero issues, getting the season-long pass each year. Some priceless pics of the girls on some of their first coaster-adventures we would not otherwise have.

They have even ventured (a tiny) into adding video (like Disney) on certain rides. I believe Mystic Timbers was the first we ever encountered this feature, and it was a nice surprise.

We tried doing what was suggested here after seeing so many photo shops closed- we went to the front of the park to grab our photos, recording times, etc. The main location at the front was closed as well.

What. A. Joke.

I’m sorry, but guest expectations are high in 2019. I get not being a complainer, and “needing to be made whole” jokes, but paying for the FunPix package and having this problem is unacceptable.

What was the response when you brought this to the attention of Guest Services?

Tilt-a-Whirl, I'm glad you posted. Today was visit #20 for me this season. I have never seen that front of the park Funpix closed, ever. Today at 2:20pm it was closed. I have never and will never get Funix, but as I strolled past I was wondering about those customers that do want to spend money on it.

Going to wake up an old thread here.

Been fighting to get my passes correctly setup with my email account association (I have got to stop playing with my email alias feature...).

Upon getting it fully linked to my account for Pass Perks I saw that fun pix is ready to use? I don't recall paying for it, how could I check if that's a real perk or a glitch?

Still haven't been able to uncross these circuits...
