258 lb 5'10" rider here.........

I want to know this.........

I weigh 258 5'10" here, and while others my size can fit on TTD and SV, the seat belt (TTD) and test seat lap bar (SV) won't fit my gut. Should I not have lunch and drinks (like Coke, Minute Maid and Powerade, not beer) before I go on the ride. Should i lift my arms up and other body gestures so the seat will go on.

Maybe if I do eat or drink I can use the restroom to get rid of excessive waste to make my gut smaller.

Last time I went I tried the Power Tower twice, one WOS and another successful ride. So if that logic works, maybe I can get the safety positioning right, eh.

Please give me advice, I know people my size can do it.

Hello? Anyone?

It has less to do with your actual weight and height and more to do with body composition fat/muscle mass and where you carry your weight.

Different restraints types can cause issues for people with large guts, chests, breasts, thighs, etc...

If you search the threads on here regarding plus size riders you can learn more regarding these issues.

There’s not a real urgency on here to respond as nobody here knows your body type.

Example: in 2007 my first year going to CP, I was 265 at 5’10” and I rode everything in the park, had a tight seatbelt on dragster and millennium force but the ops had no issue helping with it.
I didn’t do any fasting or anything to get on the rides, as I had no idea about the WOS or test seats at the time.

Almost getting the WOS really had me rethink my lifestyle and I made changes accordingly.

I’m here now and I’m PISSED. I haven’t been here since 2002. I only went up one size since then and thought I *may* have issues with belts through the legs, but not anything with the classics Gemini, Blue Streak, Mine Ride, etc. Well, they changed it. They took the bench seats out, the one lap bar that covered both riders, and that LONG seatbelt that also covered both riders. I went to get on Mine Ride and I knew something was NOT the same. I’m 5’4” and my knees were hitting the front of the car/train. My knees were NOT happy. Then I realized...they ditched the bench seat and put in two individual seats and individual belts. So, there is less space in these trains which means less accepting of anyone bigger than a size 10. That goes for ALL coasters that previously had one big lap bar and one big seatbelt. I’m a size 20/22 in women’s...44B. I’m an Apple so I have no hips or thighs...it’s mainly in my middle. No go on anything with belts that go up between the legs.

Who are you pissed at?
My 10 year old niece weighs 68 lbs and the Lap bars/ seatbelts on magnum barely hold her in place to the point she had to chokehold death grip the restraint the entire ride, Should she be pissed off?
