End of August

We have visited Cedar Point in early June and mid July in the past. This year our trip will be August 24-27. I saw the park will close at 8:00 pm each night. Other than that, are there other things we might miss out on due to our late season visit?

The on-ride snack service is a bit lean by that time of year but I am sure you will survive. 🦗

Thunder Canyon and maybe SRF shut down a couple of weeks early so maybe you will miss out on those.

The last two weeks before Labor Day are my favorite days there.

Most of the 'foreign' help is gone (I do like seeing and interacting with foreign employees) and the seasonal college employees have returned to college. So staffing is low.

Ohio school students have returned to school but Michigan schools are still out. A lot of Michigan people come at those 2 weeks.

Most food services are not operating but most rides are operational.

Crowds are typically low so SHORT LINES for the major coasters.

I try to plan our yearly trip the last week in August that features long hours. I feel like that's the best way to "end" Summer. Plus we don't miss the nightly beach parties
