Best Place to Stay

Where is the best place to stay while at Cedar Point? I vote for Camper Village while camping and have enjoyed Breakers Express and other hotel/motels that were off Point.

What do you think?

The best place to stay at Cedar Point, is in a tent somewhere off the in the wooded areas of the frontier trail where nobody will ever notice.

SteelMonsters,

I spent a trip or two in a tent at CP. Seemed a train always visited.

I really enjoy Lighthouse Point. You get a nice veiw, and your own private little cabin. It's so much nicer than a hotel room.

Hands down, Breakers, no contest.
I would say for sure Breakers. But make sure its the East part, not the really old part. I've stayed at the Sandcastle one, and its a long haul back and forth, with Breakers you can go back and forth from the park to the hotel for lunch, ext. It also can have a great view of either the park or the lake. The biggest reason would proberly be the location though. Its very convenent. I might add very nice suites.

I'd say the Breakers for sure. It's just so nicely located. Within 5 minutes I can be in line for Magnum.

If you haven't stayed at Lighthouse Point, you haven't stayed at CP.

If I want inexpensive, I stay at Breaker's Express. If I want to be on point, my vote would be for Lighthouse Point.

We always got a suite (Sandcastle generally because they were slightly cheaper) for the extra room. But for the cost, Lighthouse Point also offers space, a deck, a grill, and you don't have kids bouncing off walls/floors around you. After a full day and night of walking around and riding coasters, I like a little bit of quiet and a good night's sleep.

Breakers East for sure! Convienient location as many others have expressed, its on the beach, and you have good restaurants right in the hotel. Not to mention the great view of everything, the beach and the best view of the #16!
Old breakers, ask for extra mildew smell. Seriously there is a old building smell there that anytime I smell anywhere else (daughter's dorm hallway for instance) brings tears to my eyes. (of joy not nausea)
