What route is the best to take when coming from Flint MI? I would take 23 to Ohio, but then see 3 different routes. Which would be the easiest to take? Thanks!

I agree with Tabto that Waze is a great app. But, having been pulled onto Highway 2 a couple times over the last few years while 80/90 was under construction, I've concluded that I will always drive 80/90. Psychologically it has always felt faster to be on the highway than it does being stuck behind a car going 45 on a two lane road (which you are fated to do on Highway 2) even during Norther Ohio's chronic road construction. Therefore, I suggest taking 75 south to 475 east to 80/90 east.

I would suggest taking Route 2. It's an easy drive and there are no tolls. That's the way I always take from SE Michigan.

I live in Euclid, first eastern suburb of Cleveland. I go to Michigan for automotive events. Woodward dream cruise, Michigan 'meet & greet' for Camaros and Firebirds, Camaro 'Superfest'. Always stop into Cedar Point on the way back. It's always split between Rt.2 all the way to Sandusky OR the turnpike to Rt.4 and up to Sandusky. One is slower and less miles and the other faster and more miles. Never had a difference in time to Cedar Point. BUT everything is dependent on traffic and conditions.

I always use Rt.23 in Michigan and avoid Michigans' interstates.

When you are leaving to head to the park, open up Waze or another GPS app and it will generate the fastest route for you at the time. Waze has real time traffic updates and will reroute you if any issues come up on your drive.
