"Cedar Point" pants...

My go-to zippered cargo pants seem to be discontinued by the manufacturer. These have never failed me. They're lightweight, have 2 large zippered pockets on the legs, and dry real fast. One of the last places to find them:

Any other suggestions for roller coaster-friendly cargo pants?

For the past 3 years(maybe 4),I've been using 5.11 brand. Both shorts and pants. I get them at Fin Feather Fur stores here in Ohio. I've seen them carried at other sporting goods stores too. Of the shorts style I buy, there is a product code for a slightly different length. 287 and 308 with the 308s' being longer by a couple inches. Never had a problem with them on rides such as Maverick or Mean Streak.

I got a few pair of Wrangler “Hybrid Performance” shorts at WalMart a couple years back. They have one zippered cargo pocket on the side of the left leg, big enough for an iPhone 6s+ and wallet. Pretty comfy. Can’t speak for how quick they dry but they aren’t cotton so should dry pretty quick. Real light material. I don’t recommend the black with red trim, the black fades in the sun real quick.

ROUNDABOUND.

long johns. I'd suggest you take a pair of thermal underwear if your going 2 or 3 weekends from now. And where long pants over them.

Break-away pants are the only pants acceptable ;)

And one of those old Indians windbreakers that everyone in Ohio seemed to have* I even think I had one like this at some point from my parents haha.

But in all seriousness, wear comfy clothes that you like. I get the whole coaster riding pants deal, but I also don't. In all honesty, I've worn a pair of board shorts to the park, and I've worn jeans. The key is just don't bring crap in with you other than say a wallet / cards. A phone doesn't NEED to come with you, but if it does, just get it in a pocket and secure it. I'm more worried about my glasses than a phone on every ride, even with a phone in a back pocket of a pair of jeans

No need for special pants when all you need is the Dad Bod Fanny Pack

I never had an Indians jacket.

I do, however, wear my Browns gear to Halloweekends. This way the screamsters know that nothing can scare me.

Actually, I heard homeless panhandlers wear Browns gear now, that way more people can take pity of them.

I recently went to Niagara Falls in Canada. I thought about wearing a Cleveland Browns t-shirt on the way back to the United States. When passing through customs, asking the security guard: "Do you think anyone else besides those born and raised in Northern Ohio would actually wear this t-shirt?"
