Job Postings for 2018

Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone knows when job postings for 2018 will be up. I know when i worked at the park in 08 and 09 they were posted right after the new year. Im thinking of applying this year.

The way to apply for jobs has changed for this year. Now you apply for a specific job title through the Cedar Fair website. Many jobs have already been posted, although the posting for jobs in rides has not been released yet, so keep an eye out for them to hopefully be released soon.

I didn’t get an email back and it’s been 4 days. Should I be worried?

No! It's still VERY early in the hiring process, so patience is key. In past years applications would open mid-December, and we wouldn't hear back until end of January or even February.

^^ Rides calls usually go out at the end of January, with leadership and returners usually getting theirs first. Patience ;)

What is the one thing that most first-year applicants to CP lack? -- Patience

^ more than first years. I can't tell you how many returners I know are already freaking out about it

It’s just that when I applied for Halloweekends, I got a call back the very next day.

That was an emergency.

I submitted my application for ride op on the 16th and I got the email to give times I’m available to call yesterday. Super excited!

I have my interview on Wednesday!

Congrats and good luck! My one piece of advice is to be yourself, and answer the questions honestly.
