Cedar Point is offering discount tickets if you visit the park during the middle of the week. The "mid-week saver ticket" costs just $29.99. You can only use it on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The tickets are on sale until June 11. You'll not only save money going during the week, but time as well. Cedar Point says the park has fewer guests so you'll be able to go on more rides.
I saw the "teaser" for this story on the news the other day before a commercial break, but the story never actually aired because they had to cover some guy "acting strange" in BG. Anyway, it's a good deal for people who can get out there mid week.
What I'm wondering is why are we just hearing about this now. On the website it says the tickets are good from May 19th to June 11th. Did anyone hear about this 3 weeks ago? It seems like a great way to get early season attendance up. I don't know why they wouldn't want to advertise it more.
This is interesting. It could actually change the value dynamic for season passes, for me at least.
I made a post about this in another thread, they also had at that time a pay one price visit twice ticket for 54.99, but they have since removed that deal.
On another note has anybody been signing up for the ticket giveaways?
