New Cedar Point Shores Logo

Not sure if this has been mentioned but it looks like the Cedar Point Shores logo has changed.

New Logo

I'm not sure which one I like more. They're both upgrades from Soak City :)

I like both, but prefer the original a little better. It has that old school feeling to it, kind of matching the vintage look of the billboards driving up to hotel breakers. Especially with the tip of the umbrella in the corner. Either way, I'm excited for Schooner's Bayside Bar and the newly renovated Muffleheads Beach Bar

I agree. I prefer the original logo over the new logo. The vintage logo fits in better with the updated Breakers Hotel decor as well. Both logos are executed well though and are an improvement over the Soak City logo.

Should have stayed with the old one...

Old one is definitely much better. Has more of a vintage look and much more detail. The new one looks like it was done in 10 minutes, not much creativity there.

Actually like the new logo. But as long as they don't change the Cedar Point logo, I'll be fine. I think the original logo was too vertical.

The new logo fits the existing Cedar Point & Cedar Fair branding better, which I'd bet was part of the switch, consistency in the chain is becoming very important. I like both. The old one had a neat older vibe to it, but the new one also has motion in it, and I like the Cedar Point logo/colored logo better.

I like the CPS logo, though not the "Cedar Point" font they used. Is that new font indicative of an upcoming change to the CP logo?

It wouldn't surprise me to see the others get some slight rebranding. Cedar Fair's logo was changed with a recent brand refresh, I wouldn't be surprised to see some elements change elsewhere.

Reminds me a bit of this recent discussion in Sandusky. Thank God they trashed that other proposal! But as for CP Shores, I think I prefer the newer version myself.

You know it's the middle of the off season when wAterpark logos are the highlight.

At least it's about something actually 2017!

I mostly prefer the new version; it does bother the graphic designer in me that h and the o are connected, and the e and the s are connected, but r is all alone. It's distracting (to a graphic design nerd).

They're just trying to subliminally suggest something. I mean, what does the word become without the S and r? ;)

It does appear that the CP logo could be changed somewhat soon. I'm just hoping they keep it green. Every park in the chain is either red or blue (maybe with the exception of Kings Dominion that has orange in some versions). The green definitely stands out from the other parks.

They seem to be using the blue logo more often, such as the new water tower

Only three and a half months left of the off season to go!
