RMC Streak Photo Update - May 7, 2017

So, Digger was a "cowboy name" and Chess was the character name. I wonder what "Blackjack" will be?

Does anyone else think these villains may have nothing to do with the roller coaster? There may just be more of a Wild West feel to the area and some kind of gun fight show including those characters.

Richie - "Giant Texan"

I think the villains are related to the coaster somehow or else we would know their stories by now. Also, the newest wanted poster warns of a chase at high speeds with sharp turns.

How many inversions can you do on a horse?

At least 2 but no Heartline rolls.

New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus

Might that strange "wall" that remains at the top of hill 3 contain some themeing related to these characters?

Link to the poster clues has "wild gravity" as part of sequence. Could this be part of MS name.

Ok gotta say it: Wild Miner 49er. That is my guess. They have the mine ride. Looked like a miner in the MS closer video chopping away at it. Digger... miner. Gold rush was Wild West frontier. Cards were just a connection that the clues are part of a game CP is playing with us. New track is earth dirt brown. The fun here could be to see which one of us gets the closest. Chess "Wild". Wyatt "Digger". WILD MINER 49ER

Wow, that's some bold risk taking!

You've had, what, fifty guesses?

Less than two weeks, folks.

Clarify RCMAC?

I guess a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while... well, maybe not this blind squirrel.

Seriously, Scotteh, not to bash you or anything, but do you honestly feel that name aligns with anything Cedar Point has named their rides? Not only is the name redundant (a 49er was a miner, wild or not), but it doesn't fit anything they've ever done before.

I'm not saying they've been conservative with their ride names (they really haven't been for the most part), but Wild Miner 49er would come so far out of left field that I would bet the house I don't have on it not being the name of the ride.

How is the guessing the name any different than guessing the elements this ride will have? Chain lift or lightning rod style lifts. Why do you suppose CP is posting pics of Wild West themed characters? What do they want us to take from them? If They aren't teasing us with these twitter postings, why are they doing this? Answer those questions, then once again, tell me I am wrong and to stop wasting your time. I apologize for doing so. I'll bow out once again. Thought it was safe to share thoughts once again. Guess not.

Ive thought of 4 names I think would fit here they are in the order from best to worst:

The Rustler (Rustler was a term for a cattle thief)
Buckaroo
The Bandit or El Bandito
And finally Stagecoach

Sparty : https://www.cedarpoint.com/play/rides/cedar-creek-mine-ride

Ok you're right, it doesn't fit. Ok redundant, I get that. Nice ring to it though.

Meanstreak played off Bluestreak. What makes you think this won't play off the Mine Ride?

Nothing. They are equally-pointless endeavors.

Why do you suppose CP is posting pics of Wild West themed characters?

To promote interest in their new attraction.

Brandon

To promote interest = to talk about or having discussions. Which these threads are discussions. Pointless = why are we here on this pointbuzz thread. I motion that Walt turns off all discussion of this new ride until it is officially announced. Then and there we can have "sensible and meaningful " discussion.

Man what buzzkill. Hey there is a great name.... buzzkill

That's actually better than Wild Miner 49er. I mean, even for a blind guess, that is absolutely terrible. I thought you were joking.

Eat 'em up, Tigers, eat 'em up!

What is happening? Shouldn't we wait to see the Blackjack character before we go all in? You don't give away your hand before all the cards are revealed.

I think it's more likely that it'll have a sheriff themed name. As in these are bandits that the sheriff is trying to round up.

The Lawman..or something. I've got nothing. Is it the 16th yet?
