Season Passes

I believe the pass processing center will be open the day before opening day.

Best bet: Check the CP website in Mid to late April. They give all of the dates and times the pass processing center is open.

The office WILL be open the day before opening day, BUT I heard the park is reserved for some group that day - so the lines are still expected to be quite bad!

I was planning on heading there then too, spending the night - and then hitting the park on opening day... until I was told this info! :-(

No biggie though... I'll just make a special trip the weekend beforehand.

Last year, there was much confusion as to whether the Season Pass Center would be open for processing on the day before opening day, which was the Longeburger buyout day. In the end it turned out that it was open and it took me about half an hour to get my pass processed in the late afternoon. Lines for processing are usually in the hour multiple hour range.

I urge everyone who can renew by mail to do so and anyone who can't renew by mail to attempt to process their pass at some time other than opening day.

Rob, my computer is acting really weird, and things keep popping up whenever I use certain letters, now my only problem is the "m" key, which I'm dealing with alright. That last post was before I figured out how to fix it, I mean deal with it, becuase it's definately not fixed. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Ok... if you get your pass through the mail and use your old photo, can you get a new photo taken after the park has been open for a while? I'm thinking that they would charge $10 or so for a replacement card, right?

Cedar Point will announce when you got to the park before opening day and get your pass. If I remember right its about a week before the park opens.

Finally an annoucment.

The line to renew on opening day was so horrendous that my buddy decided to buy a regular ticket(instead of processing his pass) and dealing with the pass at a later date. I was very glad that he did, and we got 5 quick rides on Wicked Twister in a ridiculously short time span. I could barely walk afterwards!

Got my 2003 season pass in the mail today (Thursday 2/6/03). It was postmarked on Tuesday 2/4/03. So those of you who are renewing by mail should receive yours in the next day or so. Personally, I think that the Joe CoolClub and Parking Pass symbols stand out better on this year's pass over last year's.

Raptor and Daredevil, approximately when did you guys send in your certificates? I sent mine in just after the first of the year and haven't seen anything yet.

I can't say for sure, but I think I put my certificates in the mail on Monday, December 30th.

How long does the process take, I just got my certificate for Christmas. I live in Detroit, would it be advisable to go before the park opens or no. Just go on opening day
