This conversation has been a lot more interesting than the typical Pointbuzz thread:

"Why can't T&T post more?"

"What is going to be the new coaster next year?"

"Maverick doesn't look like fun."

Etc, etc, etc.

As a parent I guess I am more concerned about an amusement park still allowing smoking, not only for the health risks, but for the impression that leaves on the kids.

But, I will agree the conversation would have been better in it's own thread instead of tying up the "What's new for 2007" thread.

Well, isn't this new smoking policy in fact, new for 2007? :)

I am a considerate smoker. I have my cig before I enter the park and on my way back to my car. I can contain myself in the park from smoking, as I can sympathize for others. So, it really does not matter to me if they have smoking areas, as I do not use them anyway. Now that I think about it, perhaps I don't smoke that much to begin with. I have been at some other parks that have areas and have not seen many people using them.

As far as the chain food in the park, I'm not a real fan of that either. Unless they add a Lee's Famous Recipe. Gooood chicken. I worked in foods at Geauga Lake for many years and miss some of the old fare that was unique to each park. It seems those times have come to pass.

I think the on-ride video is a great idea. Just imagine if Dragster had them, pictures of those disoriented looking faces would be popping up all over the place.

Come onnn, who's pumped for the Halloweekends parade?
