Well I rode MF Sunday. I was a bit hesitant. The wait was 4 hours, then later it was 3, then they changed it to 2 hours. I went up to the enterence assistant and she said that it would be a 2 3/4 hour wait. I knew I would shoot myself if I didn't get on, so I did.
Well, about an hour in line, I noticed that people were just going nuts and felt really excited. I was watching the train go around the last turn and every time it seemed so fast! Normally, you see it a couple times and it doesn't look all that fast, but this ride is different.
Finally, I got to the ramp and when that first train came buzzing by I told my friend what the hell am I getting myself into! I couldn't even see the riders faces! I couldn't believe it. Finally when I got to the unloading station, everyone was wipping their eyes and saying that was worth twice the wait. It sure was, plus some.
Got to the station and I seriously started to shake. I couldn't believe how fast the trains leave the station. It was pretty quick! I got in the 3rd last row and I won't tell you anymore except it was great. No words can describe it but you HAVE to get on the ride. No matter the wait!
If this coaster isn't #1, I'll be hunting for any coaster that can beat MF! Maybe it should be called the "Speed Speed Speed Coaster"!!! :)
I'm starting to aggree with your last lines, but I would still like to ride S:ROS at SFNE.
I would like to ride S:ROS too but I don't think they can compete with a 300 foot drop at an 80 degree bank.
The ride is complete. Air time, big drop, steep hill, speed, great turns, excellent tunnels, great 3rd hill, and an awe-ful great ending (no pun intended).
The only thing is it needs to be longer! ;)
I think the best part of MF's finale is the queue. By the end of the ride, I seriously couldn't breathe. Somehow, I mustered enough stregnth to scream to the people waiting. I wanted them to know, it's well worth what they're goin through! Man! I can't wait to go again Thursday!!
