Attention Parking Pass Holders...

In case you have not already heard, and in case you have not already processed your parking pass, you can save yourself some driving and embarassment. This year, *all* season passes INCLUDING PARKING PASSES are being processed at the Group Sales window. Parking passes are NOT being processed at the toll booth as in previous years.

Just a public service announcement from...

Do they still come to your car and stick it on for you?

If they're not processing the parking pass at the toll booth, then how do we get IN? ;)

I'm not going to be able to get there for season pass processing until after the park's opened..

I'm guessing you just show your certificate. That does bring up the problem that you would be able to show that certificate multiple times, without actually having it processed.

After you fill out a little paper, a lovely Traffic Control employee will go with you to your car, and stick that lovely green sticker on the windshield.

Another tip: Have you License Plate number handy, you'll need it for the form.

In the past, you just pay the $6 and they refund it at the season pass center.

Yes, they still scrape off the old one (if you haven't done it already) and attach the new one. I don't know what they're going to do once the park opens for the season; at that point they may go back to applying passes at the toll booth, since the parking pass certificate says right on it that it is not valid for daily parking.

It's just that when I went up there Saturday, I had a friend with me. He needed his season pass, I needed my parking pass. So I dropped him off at the Group Sales window, then drove back to the toll booth...only to find that I had to drive back up to the Group Sales window again. :)

RideMan,

I'm glad I was not the only fool pulling up by the booths on Saturday...

Question- Does anyone know why they stopped putting ride logos on the regular parking pass stickers? I was hoping for a "M" swoosh and got a solid green square with for the second straight year.

Parking passes for the employees have the "M" on them.

They aren't green again, are they? How much sense does that make?

If the stickers are exactly the same then why did I bother scraping my old one off if it was indistinguishable from this year's (except for the tiny expiry)?
