beer at the hotel pool?

was just wondering if it was going to be ok to drink beer by the pool, at hotel breakers. i know they probably wont want glass, but do they give you a problem otherwise

I can't imagine why not, but I do not know for sure. You're probably correct about no bottles.

Promoter of fog.

I was at the Breakers pool last week and there were many people with beer. No glass bottles.

They allow you to drink beer on the patio areas around the Hotel Breakers pools, but they do not allow you to drink beer directly at poolside. In fact there is a "no alcohol past this point" sign attached to the fence gate where you enter into the pool area.

However, I don't know how strictly this is enforced.

I have never seen it enforced. I'm not saying you should bring in a case of beer or anything. Maybe you might want to look to see if others have beer before bringing you own. I would think the worst they would do is ask you to drink it elsewhere or throw it away. I've never brought any drinks of any kind to the pool myself. The night I was there the ledge outside of the hot tub was lined with beer cans and cups with other beverages of all kinds.

I don't think you will have any problems drinking beer poolside. I saw 5 people with beer yesterday, all sitting on the edge of the pool with their feet in the water. I think the only place you would have a problem bringing your own is if the location sells beer, that would be against Ohio liquor laws. The sign of no alcohol past this point is for the patio by the Breakers ice cream parlor because they sell beer. It is meant for people who bought beer, not for those who bring their own.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
