Best place to ride each coaster?

Next month, I'll be at Cedar Point for my first visit in 6 years! I'm getting very excited! :) I've read many threads on here and picked up random advice I wish I could remember about which seats on which coasters were rough, smooth, uncomfortable, particularly great, etc, but I know I won't remember, so I wanted to just make a thread and ask. I'd love to read any and all input on favorite seats!

I road every coaster at the park the last time I was there. I remember I did not care much for Maverick as it was rough, but I only got to ride it once. I'm particularly interested in trying it again because I thought I would love it and was pretty disappointed with it. But I'd be curious to read opinions on getting the best ride for any of the coasters. Or any of the other rides. I will ride everything! Except Mean Streak. (Unless I'm convinced there's a way I can like it.)

Millennium Force at sunset is a beautiful sight.

You should ride Maverick, the new restraints are amazing. Also, Mean Streak is not too rough this year, just sit in the front seat, or in any of the front seats in each individual car.

Last year my daughter and I rode Maverick and had a great time. I can't remember which seat we were in but it was probably somewhere in the middle. We got back in line to ride again and she said she wanted to sit in the back seat so we did. I remember getting whipped around pretty hard and my ears hit the restraints. I did not want to ride again the rest of the day after that.

The new restraints should help address any headbanging issues, but it will still probably feel rougher or more intense in the back. So I'd suggest trying the middle or front.

Which row did you sit on Maverick? Like jsmith, I would suggest front or middle row as those have given me the most enjoyable rides by far.

The first time I rode Maverick,as I was not aware of what it was going to do,I considered it a rough ride. Learning to hold the body and neck relatively stiff made it a great and enjoyable ride. I like/prefer the front seat for the view and the last car for the speed over the first drop.
