Blue Streak

When I was at the park last Friday, I saw the historical photo of Blue Streak with no paint, then I saw it in person with white supports and blue trim. Everything was fine and dandy until I saw another historical photo at Walt's site
(http://www.schmidty.com/cpvirtual/history/postcards/72_blue.jpg)

and his historical photos show Blue Streak with Blue supports and white trim.

My question is:!hy did the Blue Streak start off with no paint, and then changed it's color scheme twice?
I thought Blue Streak had light blue supports and darker blue track?

Blue Streak was named for The Sandusky High School sports teams and I have a theory that not enough people made the connection and kept wondering why an unpainted coaster was called BLUE streak when it was clearly not blue. It's also possible that it needed paint to offer some protection to the weather and blue was the natural choice.

I think Blue Streak has a brake at the top of the hill now!!

Other than the brake run outside the station, Blue Streak has no brakes anywhere on its course.
When they painted Blue Streak, originally it was white with dark blue track. A decade or so ago, they repainted the white light blue but retained the dark blue track.

I think they changed the color so people don't get it and the Corkscrew mixed up. (same colors and all)
