B&M

Well, all signs are pointing at CP getting a new B&M in the next year or two. My question is where will CP be placing a new coaster, while I have never been to CP, I have heard you are a little short on land, is this true. Also what about ride removals, what rides are on the chopping block as of right now?

www.rollercoasterz.com, with a new SFMM guide
Allen. No. No space problem. No ride removals. B&M is possible, but so are 50 other things. Final Answer.
Period.

Cedar Point and their designers are excellent at building rides around what is there. This adds a lot of excitement to the ride, and look for more of this in the future.
CP is very very good at building rides around what they have. There is definatly no space problem. They hardly ever remove rides. They mostly would just re-locate the ride (e.g. Big Wheel).

The signs are very obvious about a floorless, look around the park, if you know the park good enough there are two very obvious signs. It may come sooner than we think.

Hmmmm...that sounds like a hint hint post. Are you saying that CP is doing what we all want them to do?-build a rollercoaster every year.
Like I said, "STOP LOOKING AT THE PARK MAP AND SAYING THE PARK IS RUNNING OUT OF SPACE"

If they do build a B&M floorless, I hope they specify an intense ride, like Mantis. With all the hype surrounding Medusa, I was looking forward to Batman’s Night Flight at SFO. I was somewhat disappointed when I rode it. It’s a fine family ride, but is lacking in the thrill department. People have told me that it’s actually better than Medusa, which makes me wonder if B&M is getting away from high intensity rides. I really do question the need for a floorless coaster anyway. The concept is ok in the front seat, but any other seat in the train feels like a regular sitdown coaster. I guess I’m not that impressed with some of the stuff B&M has been doing lately and would prefer a ride like a launched Intamin looper, or something like Disney’s Rockin’ Roller Coaster.

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)

CP has a TON of room. I think that seeing water on three sides triggers people to think they have no room left...If you want a park definatley without room, head to KW. We need to take something out to put something new in

Hometown parks: Kennywood, Cedar Point!
Feel the Force NOW!!
Kenny wood, ha thats funny. I live near Pittsburgh and I go every summer. This place just gets worse every year. And now there saying there going to beat the MF height records. I think thats really really funny.
Just an observation but on the 2000 map, it shows alot of land around Mean Streak green. It never shown that much before. Don't anyone go crazy on me because I haven't been to Cedar Point yet this year!
I need time to take some pictures, then I'll post them on my site.

Dispatch Master, This is Transport one! I'm losing control, I'm losing control!
Remember, I've never been to CP, or seen a map, I've just been told that CP is low on space
If they do get a floorless it better be equal in intensity to Raptor if not way more intense. (like maybe the highest floorless with the most inversions). How about 2 cobra rolls except more speed through them compared to BKF. After riding BKF I was disapointed in floorless coasters. Yes it is a good ride, however it felt like another sitdown coaster basically. CP's floorless (if they get one) better be intense. I still hope for the CCI though.

Why doesn't CP get rid of the campgrounds? If people wan't to camp, there is a lot nicer and cheaper campground just east of CP. It seems like the campgrounds loses more spaces every other year any way! That would be plenty of room for another woodie! What about Disaster Transport? What a waste of space.
I think they should get rid of the campgrounds and expand Sandcastle Suites halfway into that area. The floorless's station should be behind WWL and could travel over Thunder Canyon and do some sort of turnaround inside MF's first turn. There's also tons of space between SRF and MF for a queue and station, the majority of the floorless could share the island with MF. A launched coaster should go in the boneyard/campground area and go over 100 mph. A CCI should be built at the bordwalk only if they remove that building that Macaroni's is in, if not, then an Arrow Mad Mouse or Arrowbatic should go there and the woodie should go in that picnic area in front of Raptor.
