B&M coaster contract?

Is cedar point in a coaster contraction with b&m? In 1994 was raptor then, 1996 was manis. Cedar point is done with there intamin contract after millennium force, wicked twister, top thrill dragster and maverick. Since gatekeeper was B&M, will there be a two coaster contract like the raptor and mantis?

No, I don't think there is any contract for a certain number of coaster. I think they just go to different manufacturers and whichever one gives the best bid and design gets the job.

Back in the 90s',I had heard/rumored/unconfirmed that after the 1994 B&M Raptor and 1996 B&M Banshee/Mantis that a 1998 B&M 4 across traditional sit-down coaster was coming, but that was cancelled to put all of CPs' resources to their big 2000 project.

Need some 'posters' to chime in on that for its' authenticity. I never heard anything to confirm or deny it.

number of times to Cedar Point:50s/60s/70s/80s-3,1995-1,1996-27,1997-18,1998-13,1999-20,2000-16,2001-8,2002-7,2003-18,2004-14,2005-18,2006-28,2007-16,2008-17,2009-28,2010-26,2011-27,2012-21,2013-18,2014-24,2015-29,2016-46,2017-13,2018-14,2019-10,2020-0,2021-3 Running Total-483 72,000 miles traveled for the point.

I agree it was smart for CP to not make a 98 coaster.
They would have spent a lot of money that decade.
25 million for MF, 11.5 M for Raptor, 12 M for Mantis, and probably somewhere in between 10-14 Million for the 98 coaster.

So if you add that up. That's about 60-62 million dollars.

That's quite a lot especially before inflation in the 2000s.
