CEDAR POINT 2000 MAP IS UP

Hummmm . . . they did do something different this year!
There are several items on this map that I have never, ever, ever, seen on a "public" map before. I am talking about like 22 years worth of maps. It kind of makes me wonder if this map is really what we will see in shops and in the daily guide this summer.

Glad to see it up, though I wish it wasn't a JPEG. Using that compression makes it a little hard to read.

The map is in GIF format, so it should be fine. I couldn't spot anything out of the ordinary, what things haven't shown up on a public map before?

I seriously doubt that that is map we will be seeimg on the fun guide because none of the numbers are on the map for games, shops, and food. Also the detail is very low and the old map makes cedar point look a little more densely packed. Anyways, I hope that is'nt the final map either.

The main midway segment is JPEG. That was the one I happened to look at first. You're correct, though, Pete - the rest are GIF. Still, it's not very clean.

I doubt what you see now is what you'll get in May.

Why is MF gray?
I also noticed that the map shows the Mantis queue entrance on the Frontier Trail side of the railroad track. Did I not read here about that changing?

If you click on MF on the map, it will enlarge that section of the map. Then MF is colored blue.
The things that are on the map, that has never been on a public map are: the employee dorms by Breakers, the Cedars Dorms by the Marina, and all of the department offices. This isn't the first map that Cedar Point has put down everything on a map that's on the peninsula. If you have a Halloweekends park guide take a look at the map. They have all of the dorms, and the department offices on them.
