Cedar Point Shows

Just wondering how the stage shows are this year. I haven't seen any posts about them.

I caught the first run of this year's Red Garter show this season. Unimpressive... but, I've never been a fan of any of the RG shows.

Twistin' To The 60's is, from what I remember, exactly the same as last year's show. Cute show.

Caught the Sneak Preview of Centennial Theatre's new show for this year, 'Livin' In America' tonight. I was really impressed. There were a few flubs here and there, but it was the first time it was performed in front of an audience. I'm sure once they get a few more runs in, it will be awesome. Definetly check this one out!

2004 - Wicked Twister/Top Thrill Dragster

The diving show is "slow" (I think they really need someone else putting these together -- I seem to think this EVERY year about the diving show), but the quality of divers (at least while Orlando & Danny are around) is better. It's definitely worth seeing.

I think the Red Garter show is the best, and should be a contender for an award this year. "Jump" is really lame IMO (and should be removed from the show) but the rest is OK. Most of the band is back along with a few of the better singers. This is worth seeing.

Twistin' to the 60's is the same show (with some minor prop changes.) It's taken a (small) step backward talent-wise in my opinion vs. last year. Unfortunately, I only saw it on their opening day - it's probably better now.

The laser show is, well, the laser show. While it must change a little year-to-year, it always seems the same to me.

Hey, I heard a rumor that Top Thrill Dragster is sinking...

att the shows are very good The livin in america a lot better from the first time it was aired

You've gotta see the dive show! It's amazing!

Who wants to see a high dive? I said, who wants to see a high dive?

It seems to me that the Red Garter show quality varies a good deal from performance to performance. I saw it for the first time this year on 6/25 and it wasn't very good. The guitar was innaudible and the singing was lacking in many areas.

However, I saw the final performance of the day on 6/26 and it was awesome. Singing was perfectly on the mark and the band was extremely tight. It has to be very tough for them to give a top-notch performance multiple times a day. I think one would have to see the show a few times before a fair review can be given.

How is the ice show this year?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

omg the ice show is a lot better this year its a lot better

I recently saw Livin In America and it was very enjoyable. The performers put alot of energy into the show and the effects such as the magic portion make it quite entertaining. I highly reccommend.
