christmas at the point

does anyone know if there was ever a "christmas at the point"?
There was, in the mid-90s (correct me if I'm wrong), but it was discontinued due to lack of popularity. Maybe some others would care to elaborate...
Christmas in the Park took place after the '94 season.

Park Place, Midway Carousel, and Sweets n' Treats were all open. The Centennial flower bed had a large Christmas tree. There was an attempt at lighting throughout the park, viewable on a horse and carriage ride. That's about it. It would have been a success, in my opinion, if they put the same effort into it as they do for Halloweekends.

I also feel it didn't help there was no snow at all during the event. The horse and carriage ride was just too cold!

You're not kidding - snow would have been great. It was more fun for the rest of the family who had never see CP in the offseason. I still enjoyed it, though.

Then again, there's rarely snow at Hershey and they do a incredible job at Christmas.

I wouldn't mind working a weekend to experience Christmas at the point........I wonder if they ever think about giving it another try?
