Coaster Train Replicas

Chuck Wagon's avatar

I'm looking to add the Raptor train replica to my collection, but I haven't seen them in stock online or in the park recently. Anybody know what's up with these?

I'd like to complete my collection, but it seems like finding all the various varieties (3 colors for Maverick, TTD, and MF) is hard to come by. Are they still selling these in the park somewhere?

Im guessing you tried this site before:

I did see a Raptor train on this site.

I still think they are re-working on the Inverted Train models. They had a problem with them breaking to easily during shipping so they stopped making them while they found a better way to make them. They should be out soon since they are starting to show pictures... >.>

Coaster Dynamix makes the models for the parks. But, I believe the rides branded to a specific ride are only sold by the parks themselves. In other words you can only get a Cedar Point model from Cedar Point, a Kings Island model from Kings Island, etc.

You may want to click the link above. You can get almost any model on there.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I got one 2 years ago off the Cedar Point website in the store. I don't know if they will ever come back, but they were only being sold for about a 2 week time frame and I snatched mine up and got it. I never took it out of the box and actually it's collecting dust.. lol.

Jason is correct, Coaster Statixs for specific rides are only sold at the parks or the park's web store.

Each train might be a different color or lack a sticker with a specific coaster name. But, they are essentially the same. ACE sells a Wood coaster static which is the same as the Beast static. It just has different stickers on it.

Going here, I now see that they do sell the park models on their site. I don't think that used to be the case.

But you can not purchase them from the site. Here it says specific rides are only available at the park.

Im just sayin I saw a raptor one on that site and thought it might help you out a little. I will admit I got my Dragster replica from the CP online store but it still arrived in coaster dynamix packaging.

Now looking at the site I dont think Raptor is available because there is no link on the page to buy it.
